No expense has been spared on Grace. From her early years, she was professional broken into saddle by Richard Connell of “Connell Equestrian”. She has since continued her training with Jade Pollard-Wallis who commenced her dressage training and progressed into competitions.
With Jade, Grace begun her dressage career in 2021 starting in Prep and progressing quickly to Preliminary. She is ready to progress into competing at Novice level this year and is establishing her Elementary movements at home. Grace has three excellent balanced paces, lovely flowing forward movement with all the ability to collect and extend with ease.
With little work she can go from the float to the arena with minimal fuss. As she is still a young mare with limited outings due to covid cancellations last year, she is given approx. 30 mins work prior to the higher-level competitions, which have included some showing outings to the SHC NSW Country Hack Championships at AELEC where she placed in the Newcomer Open Small Galloway class.
Grace has been accepted for Led, Ridden and Novice Galloway at the 2022 Royal Canberra Show and with full stabling. She can also be entered for the SHCV Battle of the Borders Championships as well the weekend prior to Canberra Royal.
Ideally, Grace is suited to an experienced child rider or intermediate adult looking to excel at Pony Dressage or the Show Ring. In the dressage ring Grace has all the talent to achieve high percentage scores and compete at the highest of level if her current training was to continue with a new owner.
Grace would also be a great asset to any stud for her future breeding potential. With her correct conformation and breeding lines she has everything you need to produce stunning foals and strengthen the future of the Pony Dressage scene.
No problems at all to farrier, float, teeth, chiropractor and clip but she does need an experienced adult to clip her ears.
